Questions retail & supermarket owners ask
Can Paybot handle MRP and tax-inclusive prices?
Yes. Prices can be entered GST-inclusive, the way MRP works, and Paybot backs out the tax on the bill. For batch-tracked items, each batch keeps its own MRP and it prints on the receipt.
How does GST reporting work for a shop with many small bills?
Counter sales to customers without a GSTIN go into the B2C sections of GSTR-1 automatically, and bills with a GSTIN go into B2B. GSTR-3B and the HSN summary are built from the same bills.
Which barcode scanners and label printers work?
Any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner that types like a keyboard works on the billing screen. Barcode labels come out as print-ready sheets in common sizes such as 50 × 25 mm.
Can I run more than one store?
Yes. Each branch has its own stock, users can be limited to their branch, and transfers move stock between stores at cost. Several branches usually mean several users, which is the multi-user plan: contact us for pricing.
Does it work during internet outages?
The POS keeps billing offline on the installed app and syncs later, so the till keeps going.
Can I move my existing product list into Paybot?
Yes. Import products, customers, suppliers, opening stock and balances from Excel, and use the Tally export for your accountant.
