Inventory management questions
How is stock valued?
At weighted-average cost, recalculated whenever a purchase, sale or return is saved, including back-dated ones. Batch-tracked items also keep a per-batch cost.
Can I track batches for some products only?
Yes. Batches, serial numbers and BOM are switched on per product, so a pharmacy can batch-track medicines and not carry bags.
Does Paybot stop selling stock I do not have?
Your choice. Negative stock can be allowed or blocked, and expired batches are refused unless a manager approves.
Can I move stock between branches?
Yes. A stock transfer is dispatched from one branch, shows as in transit, and is received at the other. Batches, serial numbers and an e-Way Bill go with it.
Can I print barcode labels?
Yes. Pick products or a whole purchase bill and print on 50 × 25 mm, 38 × 25 mm or 100 × 50 mm presets or your own layout. Missing barcodes are created for you.
Is manufacturing included?
Yes. Bills of materials, production orders, disassembly and job work are part of inventory, with components deducted when production is recorded.
